I wonder if it would be possible to rent one of the empty shops on Crowborough high street?
Do you find this valuable?

It seems to me that the main obstacle will be - where to hold the exhibition, where cost is not exorbitant. The White Hart Pub would let us have three large garages - in need of white washing - but what an outlet - central, large car park and lots of people going through, and the rental would not be too high. The idea of a shop window in Crowborough - as they have in Edenbridge - is not on at the moment - no one is interested.

Priority is to get as many people on the website as possible with a view to getting as many volunteers and support fto put on a Wealden Art Exhibition.

Ways of attracting people to the website –
• Research all art activities with information on the web and invite the to look at the site and preferably join so that we can communicate with them easily
• Make contact page on the website so that people can ask questions that way if they are confused about how to enter discussions on the site (Sue will do this a.s.a.p)
• Put up our advertising cards in all possible places – people can make phone contact if they are not on the internet (Sue will bring advertising cards to the networking lunch on May 6th)
• Research funding
• Gather a group of activists
